INTROTEACH BOOKING APP TERMS OF USE

These Terms govern access to and use of the IntroTeach/CyfleDysgu mobile application (“the App”).
By accessing or using the App you agree to these Terms.
1. Purpose of the App
The App is a professional coordination platform that allows:
- Supply teachers and teaching assistants (“Education Staff”) to publish availability and receive work opportunities
- Schools to identify available staff and make booking offers
- Messaging between registered users
- IntroTeach to distribute service information and job-related notices
The App is a communication and matching platform only.
IntroTeach does not supervise, direct, or control the work performed by users and is not a party to the working engagement between a school and Education Staff.
2. Account Eligibility
Access is restricted to approved registered users of IntroTeach.
Accounts may only be created after verification and compliance checks carried out outside the App.
The App is not available to:
- members of the public
- parents
- children
- pupils
3. Nature of Relationship
Nothing in the App creates:
- employment
- partnership
- agency between users
- contractual obligation to provide work
Education Staff are engaged separately under agency or worker arrangements governed outside the App.
4. User Information and Professional Profiles
Users must ensure information provided is accurate and up to date.
Education Staff profiles, including name, photo, description and availability, are visible to registered schools.
Schools are responsible for decisions made based on that information.
Users grant IntroTeach a non-exclusive licence to store, display and transmit profile information for operation of the service.
5. Messaging and Conduct
The App includes professional messaging.
Users must not:
- send abusive or inappropriate messages
- share unlawful material
- request private contact details to bypass the platform
- attempt to arrange off-platform engagement without IntroTeach
Accounts may be suspended immediately for safeguarding or professional concerns.
6. Bookings and Introductions
The App facilitates introductions only.
IntroTeach:
- does not guarantee availability of staff
- does not guarantee acceptance of bookings
- is not responsible for performance of engagements
All working arrangements exist outside the App.
7. Data Protection
Personal data is processed in accordance with the IntroTeach Privacy Policy.
By using the App you acknowledge:
- your professional information may be shared with registered organisations
- organisations receiving data act as independent data controllers
- messages are stored to operate the service and for safeguarding purposes
Data deletion requests must be made through IntroTeach administration processes.
8. Notifications and Electronic Communications
The App uses push notifications to inform users of:
- job offers
- messages
- service notices
By using the App you consent to receive these operational communications.
You may disable notifications in device settings, but this may affect functionality.
9. Availability of Service
The App is provided on an “as available” basis.
IntroTeach does not guarantee:
- uninterrupted access
- real-time delivery of messages
- immediate booking notifications
The App must not be relied upon for urgent or emergency communication.
10. Security
Users are responsible for maintaining confidentiality of login credentials.
IntroTeach may suspend accounts where security concerns arise.
11. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or remove access where:
- safeguarding concerns arise
- inaccurate information is provided
- professional conduct standards are breached
- misuse of messaging occurs
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, IntroTeach is not liable for:
- loss of earnings
- missed work opportunities
- disputes between users
- reliance on availability data
- indirect or consequential loss
Nothing excludes liability where unlawful.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms periodically.
Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of changes.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
